Clare joined the Alzheimer’s Society in September 2013 as the Research Communications Manager to widely promote the charity’s research portfolio. Prior to that she worked at the Stroke Association and for the Stroke Alliance for Europe where she worked on several EU-funded stroke research project and clinical trials. Clare has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Neuroscience from the Rockefeller University in New York City which focussed on how stem cells could be used to repair damage to the adult brains. Clare is passionate about science communication and has several years’ experience communicating research to a wide range of audiences.
