Dr Catherine Lamond is a Senior Lecturer in Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion Studies within the School of Education at the University of Wolverhampton. Her doctoral research focused on planning for care-leavers, and she has been involved in projects across the West Midlands working with children in care. Catherine has recently published a book chapter on ‘Working with children and young people experiencing additional challenges’ which discusses the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and strategies to overcome them.
