Dr Ann Johnson MBE

Ann Johnson is a trained nurse and was a lecturer in nursing at the University of Manchester until her retirement. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease when she was 52.

Ann now goes round the country speaking about living with Alzheimer’s Disease to try and help people understand it and to try to dispel the stigma associated with it.

Ann was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Bolton in 2012 and in June this year was awarded MBE for educating about Alzheimer’s and Services to Health Care.
