Dr Alistair Walling has been a Leeds GP for the last 12 years. He is passionate about making improvements to people’s health and care using technology, informatics and innovation whilst ensuring that our focus is on the individuals and populations. His role is diverse working across both health and social care services covering the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire and Harrogate ICS and Yorkshire and Humber LHCRE, allowing joined up, shared learning. As a CCIO he works to ensure that the many benefits of data, digital innovations and technology can be realised by delivering improvements to the lives of people and professionals in the area. Through his role as the SRO for Helm (Yorkshire and Humber person held record,) he wants to help people be more in control of their health and care data and work in partnership with the health professionals to support the care they provide.
