Diane is Principle Programme Lead with NHS Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group currently leading on Dementia and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies and has worked in Dorset since 2012. Previously she worked regionally for South West Development Centre and was part of the South West Dementia Partnership. She also has worked for the Care Services Improvement Partnership, Department of Health in South West and the National Institute for Mental Health England. Prior to this she was a Non-Executive Director for a Mental Health Trust and worked in the voluntary sector for Mind and establishing various mental health initiatives in the community and was a lecturer for various universities and colleges. She is passionate around trying to improve the lives of people living with dementia.
Diane recently got married with a pirate themed wedding in Poole. She is a keen sailor and has just passed her yacht-master offshore exam this year having changed her life from a smallholder in Somerset for many years to now achieving her dream of living by the sea. She has 6 grandchildren and a border terrier called Skipper.
