Davina has a Psychology and Management Joint Honours degree

She has been Chief Officer for Age UK Walsall (formerly Age Concern Walsall) for nearly 8 years, but has worked within the charity sector for the last 14 years.

2003 – 2007: Area Manager, Victim Support West Midlands
2007 – 2009: Area Director Victim Support Warwickshire leading the organisation through the complex process of restructure and merger into a single, national charity.
2009 – Present: Chief Officer, Age UK Walsall.

Previous to this Davina has worked for both the private and statutory sectors but finds the challenges and accomplishments within ‘3rd’sector the most rewarding.

Davina has supported Age UK Walsall through periods of significant change, with the charity constantly striving to explore new areas of service delivery. The charity continuously strives to improve existing services, whilst battling against the almost annual cuts to funding.

Davina has sat on a number of Charity Boards as a Trustee during the last 14 years and is currently a Trustee for One Walsall (previously Walsall Voluntary Action).

Davina will be also be starting a 4 year Masters Degree (part-time) in October 2017.
