David Lyon is a qualified chartered accountant and has worked in the health and social care for the past 26 years.
He has held several senior management positions including Group Finance Director of the largest temporary staffing group in the UK; CFO and COO of a national high-tech home healthcare business and Chief Executive of one of the largest home care businesses.
He is now the joint owner/director of a niche consultancy, Meridian Cost Benefit Limited that specialises in getting money back for public sector bodies including NHS bodies.
Meridian, which also trades as “Recovery Audit” works closely with procurement and finance departments to recover money that is due back from suppliers, whether through duplication, undiscovered credits and charging in excess of the contractual price.
