David Graham has worked extensively in the third sector for the past 20 years. Since 2010 he has been National Director of The Care Leavers Association working to improve the lives of care leavers of all ages. Previous to this he was an Assistant Director at The Big Life Group – a social enterprise in the North West supporting disadvantaged communities in the areas of employment, health, housing, education and community development. The focus of his early employment was working with young people in a range of community settings. He has also managed community centres in various parts of the UK. For the majority of his working life david has worked with communities using a user-led approach. Striving to ensure that the voices of individuals and communities are at the heart of all decision making and service provision. In his limited free time David lives in the countryside of Yorkshire, enjoys his garden and still supports the team from the red side of Manchester.
