Now retired after 28 years in nursing at various levels, which included 16 years as a nurse specialist in haemophilia, and work in outpatient haematology.
Continues an interest in health matters as a tutor, assessor and trainer of tutors for the Living with Long Term Conditions Course (Expert Patient Programme), also involved with Crossroads Coventry & Warwickshire writing and delivering their course for carers, using personal experience as a carer for Sue.
A trustee of Crossroads Coventry & Warwickshire and former minute’s secretary for National Association of Patient Participation (N.A.P.P)
Enjoys reading and helps with the catering at the local community centre functions.
