Charlotte Rutherford is a student at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and is studying a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Psychology. Her favourite module is Forensic Psychology! While studying, she is also a Resilient Peer Support Mentor, to listen, advise and guide her peers. Her passion to support people is evident, as her previous career was a Tutor, Coach and Mentor to help people gain employment, re-train and set-up and run a successful business. During this time, she won the Future 100 award in 2011, for having a significant social and environmental impact with her business.
Charlotte’s philosophy is helping people, whether it’s in a small way or potentially changing someone’s life, for the better. She values positivity and this reflects in her personality.
In her personal life, Charlotte likes to play video games, read fantasy fiction novels and spend time with her family playing board games.
