Carol is a Registered Adult and Sick Children’s nurse (RGN and RSCN), initially working in children’s physical healthcare, and most recently in lead safeguarding roles. She has noteworthy experience of leading on all aspects of safeguarding; in inpatient care of adolescents and vulnerable adults, providing training up to Level 3, including Health Wrap and PREVENT.
Carol has worked closely with social care teams, education and police as the main stakeholders in protection of vulnerable people, as well as many other smaller organizations who work with highly specialized groups of individuals. Most recently Carol has been providing safeguarding of vulnerable adults expertise into a range of health care serious incident investigations and service reviews.
