Brian Evans is the Matron for Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT). He has been in post at UHMBT for nearly 5 years and prior to joining the Trust he had many years' experience as a Learning Disability Nurse in a variety of roles. A fundamental aspect of his current role is to provide support for people with a learning disability and/or autism and staff at UHMBT to help coordinate and plan good quality care and treatment whilst ensuring we make the necessary reasonable adjustments; considering and implementing the legislative principles of the Equality Act 2010 and Mental capacity Act 2005.
