Beth Knowles is Lead for Homelessness and Rough Sleeping for the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham. Working alongside the GM Homelessness Action Network and joint lead Ivan Lewis MP, Beth is responsible for Andy’s commitment to end rough sleeping by 2020 and radically reduce homelessness over a ten year period.
Beth began working on homelessness as the key issue in her ward as a Manchester city centre Councillor, working to develop the Manchester Homelessness Partnership with the civil and civic sectors in the city and embed the practice of co-producing solutions with people who have experienced homelessness.
