Andy is head teacher of Crossley Manor School, an independent special school for young people aged 5 - 19 with significant Social, Emotional &/or Mental Health needs. With over 30 years experience in the UK education sector, Andy has a breadth of experience of the changing nature of the demands and pressures on the lives of young people today. Having worked in some of the most deprived areas of the country, and educated some of the most elite, Andy has seen the impact of the modern world on a wide range of young people. Andy has a M.A. in Education, focussed on the wider needs and demands on today's young people and has spoken and written widely on the impact of modern technology on our young people.
Andy's overriding passion is about supporting young people, in a holistic way, to become the very best version of themselves possible; something he has held true to throughout his whole career.
