Andy Callow is Head of Services at Turning Point. He offers strategic direction, management and leadership in the delivery of a full range of person centered services for people who use health and social care services. He has a background and experience in designing, developing and leading a wide range of care pathway options from supported living to independent hospital provision for people with complex needs and behaviours that significantly challenge services.
As a Registered Learning Disability Nurse, RNMH, Dip N, BSc Hons, PGCert in LD,PGCert in MHS, Andy has over 25 years experience of working with people with a learning disability and enduring mental health support needs. He has worked in a wide variety of settings including the NHS, Social Services, the private sector and charitable organisations both in the UK and abroad. His passion for enabling people with disabilities to live fulfilled lives and be supported in a respectful, valued manner shapes his managerial and clinical practice
