Andrea McGuinness is Head of Improvement at AQuA and the NHS Quest Lead. Andrea has worked within the NHS for over 30 years covering a range of clinical, managerial and quality improvement roles. A Registered General Nurse with current registration, Andrea has a significant clinical background in addition to an MSc in Strategic Leadership and Change Management. At AQuA, Andrea has led national quality and safety improvement programmes on behalf of The Health Foundation and NHS Improvement. A founding member of the Q Community, an Advanced Improvement Practitioner and an IHI Patient Safety Officer alumni, Andrea has extensive experience of leading strategic QI and safety initiatives and programmes in partnership with AQuA clients and members.
