Alison specialises in advising general practitioners and other healthcare providers on a range of issues relevant to their practice, including business structures, partnership and expense sharing arrangements, contracting, practice mergers, acquisitions and disposals, succession arrangements, practice incorporations, NHS pension issues and dispute resolution. She has particular expertise in the legal framework relating to NHS primary and community care services commissioning and provision, and in partnership, limited liability partnership and company law. She has advised a number of emerging GP provider federations on their legal structures and is nationally recognised as a leading expert in this area. Alison writes regularly for legal publications and lectures on a range of subjects relevant to the healthcare sector.
