Adam has more than 17 years of experience working in health and social care working with both children and adults. Starting as a Support Worker for adults with learning disabilities and autism, he has spent most of his career so far in management and training roles.
In addition to his current employment at CPI, Adam is a charity Trustee and Director. This is a voluntary role for Supported Community Business Ltd (SCB) a registered charity providing a therapeutic workshop for individuals with additional support needs. At SCB, the individuals who attend experience real work tasks in a supportive environment. Adam likes to fundraise for SCB, including running a half marathon in May 2024, which raised more than £1,000.
Adam joined the CPI team in January 2022 from Cygnet where he worked as Regional Restraint and Violence Reduction Lead and MAPA (now called Safety Intervention) Instructor. At Cygnet, Adam was responsible for the organising and delivery of CPI programmes in 40+ services including Safety Intervention at Foundation and Advanced/Emergency level and Clinical Holding whilst at Cygnet Health Care.
