Backed by an extra £2.4bn a year the Forward View outlines practical and funded steps to support local practices to redesign the way modern primary care is offered to patients. Key areas of focus are developing the workforce, driving efficiencies in workload and managing demand, and modernising infrastructure and technology.
The Federation, Mergers and Alliances seminar provides an opportunity for you to learn and develop a greater understanding of the history of federation, benefits, why federate, what CCGs want, how to build a federation and how it fits into the Forward View and MCP contracting. Alliance working and mergers and the differences between these key three models will also be discussed. The seminar will also look at how significant data sharing is in all the models across the healthcare sector.
