The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join us here at Open Forum Events, a quickly expanding events and media company based in Manchester city centre.

We are looking for a confident and articulate Lead Generator/Sales Executive to join our young and supportive team. Due to the rapid expansion of the company, you would have plenty of opportunity for career progression and develop new skills and experience.

Initially the role will focus on research and lead generation, however if your results are impressive, your responsibilities will grow to encompass the entire sales process, paving the way for an exciting and rewarding career. The ideal person will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the sales team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects and be trained to use the in-house systems that we provide.

The ideal candidate requirements:

  • Must be able to generate sales leads through various online websites including all social media platforms.
  • Researching and collecting data for relevant target audiences for a variety of event themes.
  • Support the sales team by providing quality leads through your own research and ensuring all information is valid and consistent.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and highly motivated to meet personal targets and ambitions.

What we expect from you:

  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Be focused and driven to exceed targets and expectations set.
  • Experience within the events industry is preferred but not essential.
  • High levels of organisational and administrative skills.
  • You must be reliable and have as strong good work ethic.

Package

  • Base salary of £16,000 - £18,000 + BONUS (DOE)

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, This position is available for an immediate start.
