The Outcomes Star is a family of visual and empowering tools designed to both measure and support progress when working with people. Created by the social enterprise Triangle and originally developed with St. Mungo’s (2003) and the London Housing Foundation (2006), today there are over 20 sector-wide Stars, including versions for homelessness, mental health, families, older people and young people. The Outcomes Star is used by 1000’s of organisations in the UK and internationally – including NHS trusts, Local Authorities (over 50 LAs use the Family Star tools) and Third Sector (Action for Children, Barnando’s, Mind, Carers Trust and more).
