Dianne Berry is Dean of Postgraduate Research Studies, and a Professor of Psychology at the University of Reading. She is also the University’s Strategic Lead for Diversity & Inclusion. Dianne was previously Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Dean of Social Sciences, and Head of the School of Psychology at Reading. Externally, Dianne is a member of HEFCE’s Strategic Advisory Research & Knowledge Exchange Committee, and is chair of Vitae’s External Advisory Board and Every Researcher Counts Advisory Group. Until very recently, she was chair of the REF Equality & Diversity Panel. Dianne has a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and a DPhil in Experimental Psychology. She is an Honorary Fellow of the British Psychological Society and an Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences and, in 2012, was awarded an OBE.
