Meena has been teaching at the London School of Economics (LSE) since 2006. She has been named as an LSE Innovator and is an LSE Teaching Excellence Prize Winner for both statistics & operational research methods (2008, 2013 and 2016).

Meena has organised four mathematics education international conferences thus far in collaboration with the University of Warrick, the Open University and the University of Glasgow, co-chairing the scientific committees of two of these.

Meena was included in Jisc’s list of the 50 most influential university educators. She is an invited member of The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Education committee and the IMA London branch committee since October 2013.

Meena organised and presented an invited session at the RSS 2016 , and has been invited again to present at the RSS 2017.

Her research interests include mathematics/statistics anxiety; leadership and team-work; inclusive education; non-verbal communication; perception; memory; attention; learning and motivation.
