John has spent all of his 31 years of working life in education and training with an emphasis on work based learning, particularly Apprenticeships for which he has a real belief and passion. He is most proud of his time working for the National Apprenticeship Service during which he has helped many businesses to develop high quality apprenticeship programmes. These include large companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, Aldi, The co-operative and JCB as well as Local Government and the NHS.
