Guy Giles co-founded LookingLocal and is its Managing Director. With almost two decades of management consultancy, project management, new media and software development experience in the private and public sectors, including the Cabinet Office, Guy was active in the Government’s early work on digital inclusion. He has a passion for delivering public services on emerging channels and ensuring the inclusion of groups without digital skills.
LookingLocal, formerly DigiTV, has been running since 2004, initially as part of the then ODPM’s e-Government programme. It is now owned and managed by Kirklees Council on behalf of the UK local government and partner community.
