Emma has spent her entire career working in the NHS, she trained as a mental health nurse and studied organisational psychology. Working as a nurse, manager, improvement lead and commissioner she has experience across mental health, community, acute, urgent and elective pathways. She is currently leading the development of a mental health offer for the emergency care improvement programme within NHS improvement. Emma is passionate about improving outcomes for people with mental health problems.
