Elaine Bousfield is the Founder and Strategy Director of XenZone, the emotional and mental health service provider, and its award winning service specifically for children and young people: Kooth.
As a passionate advocate for giving young people a voice, Elaine founded Kooth in 2004, the first online counselling service for children and young people in the UK.
Before founding XenZone and Kooth, Elaine spent 15 years as a counsellor, six of those years as a working with young women who had experienced sexual abuse, as well as two years as a Mental Health Community Worker, four years at Manchester Rape Crisis and three years as a Community Worker.
Elaine is a regular speaker at events across the UK, including Health Europe 2016 and Health + Care 2016.
