Daniela joined the Department for Education in 2017. Her current role is team leader for the Children and Young People’s Mental Health team. Her main area of responsibility is supporting schools to implement whole school approaches to mental health and anti-bullying. She also has oversight of delivery of several commitments set out in the green paper ‘Transforming children and young people's mental health provision’, including updating the department’s guidance on ‘Mental Health and Behaviour in Schools’, and looking at how schools and colleges can measure the impact of what they do to support children and young people’s mental wellbeing.
