Bryn Price is the Director of Safer Kent, a Community Safety Charity and a keen endurance sportsman, with over 60 marathons and numerous other triathlon, kayaking and swimming events already crossed off his bucket list.
With this history, and a commitment to helping people develop themselves, he has steered the establishment of 14 “Youth Inclusion Programmes” in Kent and Medway. All of them are based on the same fundamental principles:
All youngsters are referred to the programmes
All programmes are based on a structured plan that includes self-discipline, team work and communications.
All costs are funded and kit is issued to ensure all can join in the common identity, without fear of looking different.

Using this template the programmes have achieved some remarkable results, including the closure of a “Poor Behaviour Unit” at one of the schools, as there were no longer any candidates for it, Numerous local and some national awards for the impact projects have made.

In his career Bryn has held the post of Partnership & Income Generation Manager with Kent Police and also was the Joint Programme Director for the Police & Fire Service Management Master’s Degree programme at Canterbury Christ Church University.
