Adam has worked in technology for 26 years, starting his career at Rover/BMW Group building car configuration systems. He went on to spend a number of years leading software development teams working in the motor industry, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and healthcare industries. He then went on to be COO of Medicsight and CEO of Medicexchange before moving into the retail sector, focused on digital delivery and large scale agile transformation. Prior to joining DWP in January 2016, Adam was Head of Technology Strategy and Head of IT Delivery at New Look fashion.
